Our Work
Before, during, and after disasters. HRA works at every phase to ensure communities have access to the health services they need.
Strengthening Public Health Partnerships
Building sustainable networks and fostering collaboration between public health agencies, healthcare systems, and community organizations.
Healthcare Infrastructure Visibility
Improving real-time awareness of healthcare facility status so communities and responders know what is open, where, and for whom during a crisis.
NGO Crisis Collaboration Support
Supporting nongovernmental organizations to coordinate more effectively with government partners and each other during health emergencies.
The Health Response Hub
A shared operating picture during emergencies
The Health Response Hub is the secure platform we built to connect vetted partner organizations with healthcare facilities during public health emergencies. Facilities post needs, partners claim what they can deliver, and HRA staff facilitate collaboration across the response.
Who uses it
- Healthcare facilities report operational status and submit resource requests.
- Partner organizations set their deployment status and claim needs they can fulfill (planned, in progress, completed).
- HRA staff coordinate vetting, prioritize requests, publish SITREPs, and document the response.
Access is restricted to approved organizations and facilities. Request access.
The Emergency Lifecycle
Effective information sharing is crucial for enhancing response activities, particularly through situation reports and briefings that keep all stakeholders informed. Conducting targeted training sessions and establishing sustainable partnerships creates a robust support system that enhances overall response efforts.
HRA actively utilizes its extensive networks and partnerships to uncover unmet needs within various communities and sectors. By systematically identifying available resources and emphasizing information sharing among stakeholders, HRA fosters collaboration and helps develop a detailed common operating picture.
HRA plays a crucial role in evaluating the effectiveness of its efforts through comprehensive after-action reviews. By broadcasting the lessons learned, HRA not only enhances its own practices but also fosters collaboration among various stakeholders, ensuring healthcare providers and communities are better prepared for future crises.
