Built for the Gaps in Health Emergency Response
Health Response Alliance is a nonprofit organization that unites public, private, and nonprofit partners to ensure equitable access to health services during emergencies, while enhancing community resilience against disasters affecting vital healthcare needs.
In early 2025, HRA was created to develop a platform for facilitating collaboration on resilience initiatives and response activities. One of the greatest success stories of the COVID-19 response was the fostering of broad partnerships to leverage every available resource to mitigate the pandemic's impact. Building on these lessons is critical to maintaining effective response capabilities from the national to the local levels for all types of health emergencies.
Public health and medical responses depend upon strong partnerships with few formal mechanisms to connect partners and drive action. HRA fills that gap.
